In addition, we will report on the use of donations.
More information about “What we did” can be found here.
August / September 2024
Births are currently increasing at the St. John Health Center. There is not always enough time between births to prepare and disinfect medical instruments. For this reason, we were able to support the purchase of another gynecological instrument set. We were also able to improve the work of the staff somewhat. We donated money to buy a microwave. Now the staff can prepare a warm meal at any time. We hope that this purchase will also promote the health of our employees.
May / June 2024
In order to improve diagnostics at the Health Center St. John, we were able to support the purchase of an ophthalmoscope. This allows eyes to be examined better.
We also helped the St. John Health Center purchase an aspiration set. Since tissue residues can remain in the womb during births or miscarriages, the risk of infection is very high. This can even lead to death. The tissue residues can be removed using the aspiration set.

In August, our doctors Charles and Elvis were able to present 20 mosquito nets and 48 menstrual pads to a school for the deaf. The students of class 9c of the Europaschule Schwarzenbek 2021 / 2022 made a generous donation to us and thus helped the children in Uganda.

June 2019
On 08.06 our association was represented in front of the Schwarzenbeker weekly market with an information stand. It was fantastic. Many people talked with us about our association’s work and we informed them about our projects. People also put money into our charity bin.
As of June, our association has been registered with Smile Amazon. When buying things on Amazon, the buyer can go to smile.amazon.com and choose “Muzuganda e.V.“, then a percentage of the price is being donated by Amazon to our association, without any additional costs to the buyer. All the buyer has to do is choose our association.

We have supported this information event with 150 Euros. The money was used to buy medical supplies (such as gloves and alcohol pads for example) and to co-finance ultrasound examinations.
The school in St. Edwards is continuously growing. By now, 220 children are attending the school and the kindergarten. For the purpose of accommodating all the children, an additional building is being built.
